DPT Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK / February 11, 2009 - Design Prototyping Technologies, Inc. (DPT) is proud to announce that it is celebrating 15 years of providing worldwide rapid prototyping services. Founded in 1993, DPT offers the latest in product development solutions to a wide range of industries.
From a one machine facility, DPT has grown into a position of leadership with a global customer base and a facility housing 11 state-of-the-art rapid prototyping machines. The company is headquartered in Syracuse, New York.

DPT has compiled a list of RP achievements. Since its founding 15 years ago, DPT:
- 1994 - Acquired 1st SLA machine, supplying prototype parts in days
- 1997 - Served 1000th customer
- 1998 - Acquired 1st SLS machine, producing extremely durable parts
- 2000 - Moved to new 12,500 sq. ft. facility
- 2001 - Developed online instant quoting system for SLA, SLS and Urethane Castings
- 2002 - Pioneered WaterClear finishing process for scratch resistant, exceptionally clear SLA parts
- 2005 - Implemented end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to better serve customers
- 2006 - New line instant quoting system for larger quantities and larger parts
- 2007 - Acquired 9th large frame RP machine
- 2008 - Acquired North America's 1st Objet Connex 500 multi-material 3-D printer
- 2009 - Offered the industry's largest capacity of DMX-SL 100 (high impact resistant material)
- 2009 - Served more than 5,000 of the industry's leading industrial designers and manufactures
