As I am writing this, the annual conference is just six weeks away. The Executive Board has worked diligently to make this year's event the premiere user driven SLS/SLA conference in the country. It offers this year's attendees even more "hands on" break-out sessions for Lightyear, post processing, maintenance and silicone tooling.
If your travel plans allow for early arrival on Friday or Saturday prior to the conference or an extended post conference stay through Saturday or Sunday, Costa Mesa and Anaheim have a lot to offer -- Disneyland, beaches, shopping and nightlife are all a short taxi ride away. If you're an independent traveler, you can always rent a car and head north to Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills or south to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Catalina Island. Keep in mind there are many great places to dine while you're out and about. Morton's, Ruth's Chris and Flemings offer some of the best steaks in the city. Newport Beach Brewing Company and Wahoo's Fish Taco are within one block walking distance from the hotel -- and local hotspots as well.
If you're flying into Los Angeles (LAX) and need transportation to the hotel, Airport bus, Prime Time and SuperShuttle offer one-way or round-trip transportation from LAX to the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa:
If you have any questions pertaining to travel, accommodations, recreation and entertainment while visiting Costa Mesa, please feel free to contact me. I will offer whatever information I can to make your stay more enjoyable. I am the liaison between you and the hotel staff, so please let me know if you have any issues or concerns. This is all part of my responsibility as 3DSUG Site Coordinator and I'm happy to help!
See you in sunny Costa Mesa, California!

Ps. Do not forget your bathing suit! -- The pool (heated to 85°F) and hot tub (heated to 104°F) are open 24 hours for us to enjoy!
