Objet Alaris 30Alaris 30 / Objet
Additive Manufacturing technologies continue to evolve in this exciting industry. Objet introduced the Alaris30 -- a desktop 3D Printer known for delivering a unique combination of high-quality, finely detailed printed models available in a compact office-friendly system. The Alaris 30 has a net build size of 11.574" x 7.716" x 5.905" (294mm x 196mm x 150mm) with 600 dpi X-axis, 600 dpi Y-axis and 900 dpi Z-axis build resolution. The Alaris 30 supports the VeroWhite FullCure830.
Case Study: Metallizing and Finishes

Metallizing
Metallizing is the general name for the technique of coating metal on the surface of non-metallic objects. Vacuum metallizing is often used for decorative purposes or to enhance the aesthetical appearance. Along with aesthetics, electroplating is used to build up thickness on parts that require materials to mimic metal properties.
Case Study: Go/No go

Go No Go GaugeA Go-NoGo gauge (or go/no go) refers to an inspection tool used to check a workpiece against its allowed tolerances. These gauges determine if the part is either acceptable (the part is within tolerance and may be used) or it is unacceptable (and must be rejected). In general go/no go testing refers to a pass/fail test (or check) principle using two boundary conditions. The test is passed only when both the Go condition is met and the No go condition fails.
