Stereolithography Upgrade Complete!
The Rapid Prototyping Center at SiMT has upgraded its Viper Pro to 3D Systems iPro™ 9000 SLA Center®. This new SLA system quickly and economically produces high-definition plastic parts with Accura® materials.

- Accura® 25 Plastic: Simulates the performance, properties and aesthetics of molded polypropylene. (flexible material)

Selective Laser Sintering Upgrade Complete!
Performance and speed enhancing upgrades have been fully installed and are now complete. TrueTemp™ thermal system and CleanSweep™ control technology allow SLS systems to build parts twice as fast as our previous sintering systems while dramatically reducing part-to-part and build-to-build variability.

The Virtual Museum Symposium 2010
The 3D/Virtual Reality Center at SiMT is hosting a Symposium for museum and exhibit professionals.
