| Manager of Operations, Jonathan Wilke, has worked at the SiMT Rapid Prototyping Center since 2007.
Prior to joining SiMT, he served as a product designer at ESAB Welding and Cutting.
He holds two engineering technology degrees from Florence Darlington Technical College (FDTC) in Florence, South Carolina.
Jonathan is available to assist with your company's outsourcing and RP overflow needs.

This fall, Boeing announced plans to build an assembly line for the 787 Dreamliner in South Carolina. The new commercial-plane factory will be located in North Charleston. In a statement South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford said, "The decision represents not only enormously good news for our state's economy, but also a telling dividend from our state's continued efforts to better our business climate." Those of us who live and work here could not agree more as we watch South Carolina become a major hub for rapid prototyping and manufacturing. Institute 2010 Forum
 On February 24, 2010 the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology will present 3-D Visual Communication Community in a Forum hosted at the college campus in Florence, South Carolina. The objective is to identify and grow the number and improve the effectiveness of professionals communicating visually through 3D CAD, 3D virtual reality and rapid prototyping technologies.
Preliminary Agenda Topics:
- Visual communication of new concepts and products
- Best practices in rapid prototyping of industrial design and product development
- Best practices in 3D virtual reality simulations for marketing at trade shows and on websites
